Comments: Clare bought me probably the best Christmas present EVER when she arranged our Archery beginners course and overnight stay at Robins Reach. From start to finish, we had a fantastic time. We were made very welcome, looked after very well in the relaxing surroundings. Our Archery lessons were, informative, well thought out and above all FUN ! We both passed our course and both want to go on to join a local club. Thanks Joe and Jean for a great time. We couldn't recommend the experience highly enough.

Comments: We had a one-and-a-half hour archery party in our garden for our 10 year old's birthday. Everything went so smoothly. Joe and Jean had just the right approach with a group of 10 year old boys (all beginners) - relaxed whilst being "in charge" at the same time. The boys began to pick up the technique well, whilst having great fun too. Thank you so much Joe and Jean. I can thoroughly recommend archery with Joe for a children's party with a difference!

Comments: Big thank you's to Joe and Jean for making our two hour session such great fun! All six of us had the best time ever! The tuition was spot on, with all of us beginners, making massive progress throughout the lesson. Both Joe and Jean were incredibly welcoming and hospitable. As well as the wannabe Robin Hoods, we also had one toddler and a baby with us, but as the session was tailored to meet our needs this did not prove a problem. Comments: Having harboured a dream of learning archery for over ten years, I finally plucked up courage and booked the 8hr beginner's course over 2 days with Joe. What a choice!! Joe is utterly professional, I felt extremly comfortable with someone who is clearly an expert tutor, and with his encouraging , supportive and patient approach, I was soon shooting far better than I ever imagined possible. Joe has a disarming personality and you are immediately at ease, in spite of being in a completely new arena. I had a fantastic two days and I would highly recommend it. The location was wonderful, a perfect setting and excellent hospitality from Jean (great tea and homemade soup !). Thank you for being so inspirational Joe, I will definitely be back.

Comments: I'm a wheelchair user with no use of my fingers and I thought archery as a hobby was out of the question, until I accompanied my friend to a 2 hour session with Joe and I've got to say he's a true gentleman and a great teacher. We went back to take the beginners course and learnt so much from Joe's years of experience, we also found his enthusiasm very infectious. I can't wait to join a club now and take part in a hobby where I'm at a level pegging with everyone else. I highly recommend going to see Joe if your looking for a beginning in archery

Joe is full of enthusiasm and encouragement and gets you shooting competently very quickly indeed! I feel very proud now I've completed the beginnner's course which is worth every penny (and if you're really lucky, you might get Jaffa cakes too)! You should set up a page on Facebook, so I can recommend you to all of my friends!

Comments: With over 20 years of involvment in the martial arts I know how difficult it is to find a teacher who can inspire and bring the best out of their student. Joe's relaxed approach, complete lack of self importance, his years of experience, his ability to make learning enjoyable and fun makes you realise how special his teaching really is. Add to this Jean's kindness, quiet support and you have the perfect match... a bit of yang and a bit of yin makes for a great tai chi!

Comments: I have always loved archery but never found a club. Now I have found Joe he has really got me good at archery and I enjoyed every minute of it, I sometimes wish it was a 16 hour course not 8, Joe is a lovely teacher and everyone who likes archery should visit him.

He has such a passion for Archery and in turn teaching, that it was a pleasure to be his student for 2 days. I learnt so much more than I thought was involved in archery and look forward to implementing my new found skills at a local club. I think everyone should visit Joe at some point as I'm sure he could make a better Bowman out of even the most experienced person.
