Comments: Me and a friend recently completed the 8 hour beginners course offered by Joe over two days felt I really learnt a lot and progressed fast in what seemed like no time at all. Joe is a great teacher, being patient as you get a grip of the basics, giving continual encouragement and guidance, and also quick to take things up a gear to keep you progressing. Quite a lot of material is covered in this short course, and I now feel I have had a very thorough introduction to archery and the various styles of the recurve bow. Joe is utterly professional, I felt extremly comfortable with someone who is clearly an expert tutor, and with his encouraging , supportive and patient approach, I was soon shooting far better than I ever imagined possible.
